شهدت المملكة العربية السعودية مؤخراً إنجازاً معمارياً بارزاً تمثل في مشروع “سافيتش”، الذي يعد أحد أبرز المشاريع العقارية في المنطقة. يقع المشروع في قلب العاصمة الرياض، ويتألف من برجين سكنيين بارتفاع 250 متراً لكل منهما، ويضم 60 طابقاً.

وقد أشاد معالي وزير الإسكان ماجد الحقيل بالمشروع، معتبراً إياه نموذجاً يحتذى به في التطوير العقاري بالمملكة، مؤكداً حرص الوزارة على دعم مثل هذه المشاريع النوعية التي تسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة وتوفير خيارات سكنية متنوعة للمواطنين.
من جانبه، أوضح المهندس المعماري للمشروع، أحمد سافيتش، أن التصميم استوحى روحه من التراث المعماري السعودي، مع إضفاء لمسات عصرية عليه، مما يجعله معلماً معمارياً فريداً يجمع بين الأصالة والحداثة.
ويعد مشروع “سافيتش” جزءاً من رؤية المملكة 2030 الرامية إلى تطوير قطاع الإسكان وتوفير وحدات سكنية عالية الجودة تلبي تطلعات المواطنين، بما يسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة ورفع مستوى المعيشة.
يمثل مشروع “سافيتش” إضافة نوعية للمشهد المعماري في المملكة، حيث يجمع بين الفخامة والاستدامة والابتكار، مما يجعله وجهة سكنية متميزة في قلب العاصمة الرياض. ومن المتوقع أن يسهم المشروع في تعزيز مكانة الرياض كمدينة عالمية رائدة على صعيد التطوير العقاري.

In a touching farewell, Riyadh bid goodbye to one of its loyal sons, citizen Uthman al-Mughamis, who passed away this morning at the age of 78, leaving behind a rich legacy of service and dedication in the fields of national work.

Al-Mughamis was born in the Shumaisi neighborhood of Riyadh in 1946. His life was marked by a journey full of achievements in both education and career. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from King Saud University in 1970, after which he began his professional career at the Ministry of Transport, where he held several leadership positions until his retirement in 2006.

During his professional career, al-Mughamis oversaw the implementation of many vital projects in the Kingdom, most notably:

– The network of main intercity highways
– King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh
– Many bridges and tunnels in the capital

In a statement to “Al-Riyadh Newspaper,” Engineer Ahmed Al-Zamil, al-Mughamis’ colleague at work, said: “Uthman was a role model in sincerity and dedication to work. He succeeded in turning challenges into opportunities and contributed significantly to the development of the Kingdom’s infrastructure.”

Al-Mughamis’ contributions were not limited to the professional field only, but he was also an active member in social and charitable work. He held the position of President of the Riyadh Charity Association for 12 years, during which he contributed to expanding the scope of its services to include more than 50,000 beneficiaries annually.

In a speech during a ceremony honoring al-Mughamis in 2018, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, then Governor of the Riyadh region, said: “The journey of Uthman al-Mughamis embodies the values of good citizenship and unlimited giving. He has been a role model in serving the nation and society.”

It is worth noting that al-Mughamis received many awards and honors in appreciation of his efforts, most notably:

– King Abdulaziz Order of the First Class in 2012
– The State Appreciation Award in the field of humanitarian services in 2015

At the conclusion of a journey full of giving, the deceased’s body will be buried today after the Asr prayer at Al-Rajhi Mosque in Riyadh, leaving behind a legacy that will remain immortal in the memory of the nation.

In the latest transfer market developments, Dutch club AZ Alkmaar has announced its intention to retain its talented Dutch player Denzel Dumfries, setting a difficult condition for Italian club Inter Milan to release him.

Italian media reports indicate that Inter Milan is interested in signing Dumfries during the current winter transfer window, but Alkmaar is demanding €25 million to part with the 23-year-old player.
