المغامسي يقدم استقالته من رئاسة نادي الفتح بعد نهاية الموسم

Professor Saleh Al-Maghmasi, Chairman of Al-Fateh Club’s Board of Directors, submitted his resignation following the conclusion of the current sports season. This decision was announced during the club’s regular general assembly meeting held this evening.

In his address to the assembly, Al-Maghmasi stated that his resignation came after a successful tenure of four consecutive years at the helm of the club’s administration. During this period, the first team achieved significant accomplishments, most notably qualifying for the AFC Champions League twice.

Al-Maghmasi added, “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this journey, including players, administrators, and fans. I wish the club continued progress and success in the future.”

The resignation comes at a time when the club is preparing to participate in the upcoming AFC Champions League and compete for the title of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League.

Al-Maghmasi assumed the presidency of Al-Fateh Club in 2019, succeeding Professor Mubarak Al-Dosari. He successfully led the team to achieve numerous accomplishments at both local and continental levels.

A temporary committee will be formed to manage the club’s affairs until a new president is elected in the coming period, in accordance with the regulations and systems in place for Saudi clubs.

يحتفل السعوديون اليوم باليوم الوطني للتأسيس الذي يصادف 22 فبراير من كل عام، تخليداً لذكرى تأسيس الدولة السعودية الأولى على يد الإمام محمد بن سعود عام 1727م.
وتأتي احتفالات هذا العام تحت شعار “يوم بدينا”، حيث تشهد مختلف مناطق المملكة فعاليات وطنية متنوعة تعبر عن الاعتزاز بالجذور الراسخة والارتباط الوثيق بين القيادة والشعب.
وأكد خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود في كلمة بهذه المناسبة أن “يوم التأسيس مناسبة عزيزة على قلوبنا جميعاً، نستذكر فيه بدايات الدولة السعودية الأولى وما تحقق فيها من إنجازات عظيمة في مختلف المجالات”.
من جانبه، قال ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان: “يوم التأسيس يوم فخر لنا جميعاً، نستلهم منه قيم الوسطية والاعتدال والتسامح التي قامت عليها الدولة السعودية منذ تأسيسها قبل ثلاثة قرون”.
وتشهد الاحتفالات تنظيم العديد من الفعاليات التراثية والثقافية والترفيهية، إضافة إلى العروض الجوية للقوات الجوية الملكية السعودية وعروض الألعاب النارية في سماء العاصمة الرياض وعدد من المدن السعودية.
كما تشهد المتاحف والمواقع التاريخية بالمملكة إقبالاً كبيراً من الزوار الراغبين في التعرف على تاريخ الدولة السعودية وحضارتها العريقة.
وتأتي احتفالات هذا العام في ظل الظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها البلاد جراء جائحة كورونا، حيث تم اتخاذ كافة التدابير الاحترازية لضمان سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين المشاركين في الفعاليات.
وكان مجلس الوزراء السعودي قد أصدر قراراً في عام 2022م بجعل يوم 22 فبراير من كل عام إجازة رسمية لجميع العاملين في القطاعين العام والخاص، تخليداً لذكرى تأسيس الدولة السعودية الأولى.
ويشكل “يوم التأسيس” فرصة لتجديد العهد مع قيم الوحدة والولاء والانتماء للوطن، واستلهام الدروس والعبر من تاريخ المملكة العريق، واستشراف مستقبل زاهر للمملكة في ظل قيادتها الحكيمة.
وتأتي الاحتفالات أيضاً تأكيداً على ما تشهده المملكة من نهضة شاملة في مختلف المجالات ضمن رؤية 2030، التي تستهدف تحقيق نقلة نوعية في مسيرة التنمية والازدهار.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates today the Founding Day of the Kingdom, which falls on the 17th of Jumada al-Awwal each Hijri year, commemorating the founding of the first Saudi state in 1727 AD by Imam Muhammad bin Saud bin Muhammad bin Muqrin.

In this context, Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud said: “The Founding Day is a great national occasion in which we recall our ancient history and authentic values upon which the Saudi state was founded three centuries ago.”

He added: “We celebrate this occasion to reinforce the values of moderation, tolerance and altruism that characterized the founder and his loyal men, values which we still uphold to this day.”

On January 27, 2022, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal decree making February 22 of each year “Founding Day,” an official holiday in the Kingdom.

Various events and activities are planned across the Kingdom, including artistic, cultural and heritage performances, as well as fireworks displays in the capital Riyadh and other major Saudi cities.

The celebration of “Founding Day” coincides with the 300th anniversary of the founding of the first Saudi state by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in mid-1727 AD, which formed the nucleus for unifying parts of the Arabian Peninsula under the banner of monotheism and the Saudi state we live in today.

نجح النجم الفرنسي كريم بنزيما في كسر صيامه عن التهديف مع نادي الاتحاد، بعدما سجل هدفاً في مرمى أبها خلال المباراة التي جمعت الفريقين ضمن منافسات الجولة الثامنة عشرة من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.

من جانبه، أشاد المدرب نونو سانتو بأداء بنزيما رغم فترة الصيام، مؤكداً أنه لاعب مهم للغاية في صفوف الفريق.
يذكر أن بنزيما انتقل إلى الاتحاد قادماً من ريال مدريد في صيف 2023، وخاض مع الفريق حتى الآن 17 مباراة في جميع المسابقات، سجل خلالها 12 هدفاً وصنع 7 آخرين.
وكان الاتحاد قد حقق الفوز بهدفين نظيفين على أبها، ليواصل نتائجه الإيجابية في الدوري، ويحافظ على موقعه ضمن فرق المقدمة.

Sports sources have revealed that Al-Ittihad Club in Saudi Arabia has made an enticing offer to French star Karim Benzema, Real Madrid’s striker, to join them during the current summer transfer window. The offer includes a two-year contract with an annual salary of 200 million euros, in addition to massive bonuses and financial incentives.

The sources confirmed that Benzema has expressed his admiration for the offer and intends to agree to it in the coming days, thus moving to the Saudi Professional League in a shocking deal that shakes the foundations of European football.

Details of the anticipated deal
It is expected that Al-Ittihad will pay 50 million euros as compensation to Real Madrid, in exchange for terminating Benzema’s contract, which extends until 2023. Benzema will also receive a monthly salary of up to 25 million euros, in addition to incentives worth up to 100 million euros, if he achieves certain goals and achievements with the Saudi team.

Reports indicate that Benzema will become the highest-paid player in the world, surpassing big stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mixed reactions
The anticipated deal has sparked mixed reactions in the global sports community. On the one hand, Anmar Al-Haili, President of Al-Ittihad Club, expressed his great happiness at the imminent joining of Benzema to the team, considering it a “historic achievement for Saudi football.”

Al-Haili said in press statements: “We are proud of our ability to attract global stars to the Saudi league, and this confirms the prestigious status that our league has reached, and contributes to raising the level of competition and excitement.”

On the other hand, Real Madrid expressed its sadness at losing one of its brightest stars in recent years. Florentino Perez, the club’s president, said in an official statement: “We thank Karim Benzema for the wonderful years he spent with us, and for the great achievements he achieved. We wish him success in his next career.”

Benzema’s achievements with Real Madrid
Benzema began his career with Real Madrid in 2009, coming from Lyon in France, and since then he has provided outstanding performances with the royal team, and contributed to achieving many titles and achievements.

During the 12 seasons he spent with Real Madrid, Benzema succeeded in scoring 303 goals in 595 matches in all competitions, becoming the second-best scorer in the club’s history after Raul Gonzalez.
