The relevant authorities in the Kingdom issued an official statement affirming that they are following up on the matter closely and taking necessary measures according to the systems and instructions in force in the Kingdom.

In a related context, several prominent figures in the Kingdom issued statements condemning the offensive remarks and affirming the unity and cohesion of the Saudi people. One of these figures said in a statement to the media: “Such statements do not represent our values and the teachings of our true religion, which calls for good morals and respect for others.”
