Riyadh to Host “LEAP 2026” Conference with Participation of Major Global and Local Companies
The Saudi capital is preparing to host the fifth edition of the “LEAP 2026” conference, which is considered one of the most prominent technology gatherings at the global level, with the participation of a select group of CEOs and innovators from leading global companies.
The organizers said that the 2026 edition will witness the participation of CEOs and innovators from global companies, including: Google, Amazon Web Services, Luma AI, Advanced Micro Devices, Qualcomm, Cisco, Lenovo, HP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Huawei, Foxconn, and Cerebras Systems, in addition to national companies including: STC, Aramco, Elm, Alat, and Humain.
The organizers noted that the conference comes at a time when the global technology sector is searching for new opportunities for growth, investment, and integration, with a focus on the role of innovation in shaping economies, sectors, and societies.
The list of speakers, according to the statement, includes Matt Garman, CEO of Amazon Web Services, Justin Hotard, CEO of Nokia, Tarek Amin, CEO of Humain, Andrew Feldman, CEO of Cerebras Systems, Han Jessica Bax, Vice President of Ernst & Young Foundation, and Chandra Donaldson from the US Space Force.
The topics discussed focus on artificial intelligence technologies, data, and advanced technologies, in addition to GameX Creative and sports technologies, and a new platform for business-to-business communication.
The program includes a special initiative for investors and startups, with prizes worth $1 million. The program brings together startups and investors across 60 technology sectors, with participation from the Public Investment Fund, the Saudi Company for Ventures, 500 Global, Rakuten Capital, and 20VC.
Speaking about the fifth edition, Faisal Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, said: “The LEAP conference has witnessed accelerated development over the past four years, and has contributed to supporting talent, investment, and innovation. We expect more success for this leading event, within a scene that reflects the continuous development of the technology sector and continues to inspire innovators from all over the world.”
The organizers stated that since its launch in 2022, the LEAP conference has attracted a total of more than 688,000 participants across four editions, with the participation of 2,480 startups and 6,200 companies, and more than 5,000 investors. The 2025 edition witnessed deals and announcements worth $14.9 billion, and the economic impact of the conference reached $820 million.
The upcoming edition is expected to welcome 201,000 visitors, 1,000 speakers, and 1,900 investors. The 2026 edition offers an expanded program across more than 20 platforms covering fields including climate, health technologies, financial technologies, space technologies, and smart cities, with presentations of practical solutions and applications.
