Benzema Leads Al-Ittihad to Thrilling Win Over Al-Fateh, Keeps Title Hopes Alive

In an exciting and highly anticipated match within the Saudi Pro League competitions, Al-Ittihad Club managed to achieve an important and difficult victory over their guest Al-Fateh with a score of 3-2, in the match that brought them together last evening at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

Benzema expressed his happiness with the victory and scoring with his new team, confirming in his statements after the match: “I am very happy with the victory and excelling with Al-Ittihad, we are still at the beginning of the road and our goal is to compete for the league title.”
On his part, Al-Ittihad coach Nuno Santo praised his team’s performance and Benzema in particular, adding: “Benzema is a world-class player, he gave a great performance and scored two decisive goals. We hope he continues his wonderful levels in the upcoming matches.”
With this victory, Al-Ittihad strengthened its chances of competing for the Saudi league title this season, especially with the brilliance of its first star Benzema, who seems to have begun adapting quickly to the Saudi football atmosphere.
It is worth noting that Benzema joined Al-Ittihad in a free transfer deal during the last summer transfer window, after the end of his contract with Real Madrid, with a contract extending for three years.
