Saleh bin Abdulrahman Al-Mugamis, Governor of Al-Majma’ah, received today an official delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt, headed by Governor of Giza, Major General Ahmed Rashid, as part of the delegation’s official visit to the region.

During the meeting, Al-Mugamis affirmed the depth of the brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, highlighting the importance of exchanging visits and expertise between the two governorates in various developmental and service fields.

For his part, Major General Rashid expressed his happiness at this visit, stressing Egypt’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the Kingdom in all fields, especially since it represents a fundamental pillar of Arab national security.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged commemorative shields, and the visiting delegation took a field tour of some vital facilities in the governorate.

It is worth noting that this visit comes within a series of reciprocal visits between the two governorates with the aim of strengthening the bonds of cooperation and bilateral relations.

Riyadh is preparing to host LEAP 2026, one of the world’s leading technology gatherings, from March 9 to 12, with expectations of over 201,000 visitors, 1,000 speakers, and 1,900 investors. The conference comes at a time when the global tech sector is seeking new opportunities for growth, investment, and integration, with a focus on the role of innovation in shaping economies, sectors, and societies.

On Saturday, November 30, 2023, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mourned the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Hail Region, at the age of 50 after a battle with illness. His death was mourned by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, who ordered his body to be buried in Al Oud cemetery in Riyadh.

He worked in the Ministry of Interior in various positions, including Deputy Governor of Hail Region, before being appointed as its Governor in 2017.

He also focused on supporting youth and encouraging innovation and creativity, launching the “Hail Innovates” initiative to support entrepreneurs and innovators, and organizing various cultural and sports events and competitions for young people.

In addition to his focus on development and youth, Prince Mohammed bin Saud paid attention to social and humanitarian aspects, launching the “Hail Stands Together” initiative to support needy families and low-income individuals, and organizing numerous voluntary and charitable campaigns to help those in need.
