في خطوة مفاجئة أثارت حماس جماهير كرة القدم حول العالم، أعلن نادي تشيلسي الإنجليزي تعيين الأرجنتيني ماوريسيو بوكيتينو مدرباً جديداً للفريق الأول، خلفاً للألماني توماس توخيل الذي أقيل من منصبه مطلع سبتمبر الماضي. يأتي هذا التعيين بعد رحلة بحث طويلة خاضها النادي اللندني بحثاً عن المدرب المناسب لقيادة مشروعه الطموح في المواسم المقبلة.

يملك المدرب الأرجنتيني سجلاً مميزاً في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، حيث حقق نسبة فوز بلغت 47.3% في 293 مباراة خاضها على رأس الإدارة الفنية لتوتنهام. كما يشتهر بوكيتينو بأسلوبه الهجومي الممتع وقدرته على تطوير اللاعبين الشبان.
ويأتي تعيين بوكيتينو في وقت حرج بالنسبة لتشيلسي، الذي يعاني من تراجع النتائج في بداية الموسم الحالي تحت قيادة المدرب المؤقت فرانك لامبارد، حيث يحتل الفريق المركز الـ10 في جدول الترتيب بعد مرور 8 جولات من الدوري الإنجليزي.

Today, Monday, February 22, Saudi Arabia celebrates its 93rd National Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom by the founding King Abdulaziz Al Saud in 1932.

The Kingdom is witnessing wide official and popular celebrations on this precious occasion, as the General Entertainment Authority announced the organization of more than 4,000 entertainment events in various regions of the Kingdom, including 1,800 artistic shows and 3,500 light shows, in addition to fireworks displays.

Saudi Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, said: “The National Day represents an opportunity to renew belonging and pride in our national identity and authentic culture.”

He added in press statements: “We are celebrating this year under the slogan (It is our home), which expresses our strong connection to this good land and our wise leadership.”

For his part, Minister of Media, Engineer Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, confirmed that “the National Day embodies unity under the banner of unification, and reflects the developmental and civilizational achievements achieved under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his faithful Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect them.”

The Kingdom has witnessed a comprehensive developmental renaissance during the past years within the framework of Vision 2030, which aims to diversify sources of income and enhance the Kingdom’s regional and international standing.

In the context of the celebrations, many government and private entities announced national initiatives, including the launch of the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh for the “Green Riyadh” project, which aims to plant 7.5 million trees in the capital by 2030.

The Secretariat of the Holy Capital also launched the “Makkah is More Beautiful” initiative, which aims to improve the urban landscape in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the holy sites, and enhance the quality of life for the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques.

The celebration of the National Day this year comes amid regional and international challenges, which confirms the importance of national unity and rallying around wise leadership to move forward in the path of development and progress.

The streets and squares of the Kingdom have been decorated with Saudi flags and green lights, while many government and private buildings have launched celebratory light shows.

أطلقت الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) مبادرة “التأسيس السعودي” بهدف تدريب وتأهيل 100 ألف شاب وشابة سعوديين للانضمام إلى سوق العمل في مجالات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي.
وقال الدكتور عبدالله الغامدي، محافظ “سدايا”: “تأتي هذه المبادرة انطلاقاً من رؤية المملكة 2030، وتماشياً مع توجهات القيادة الرشيدة لتمكين الشباب السعودي وإعدادهم للمستقبل”.
وتهدف “التأسيس السعودي” إلى رفع نسبة توطين الوظائف في قطاع البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي إلى 40% بحلول عام 2024. كما تسعى لتمكين 20 ألف مواطن ومواطنة من العمل في هذه المجالات خلال السنوات الخمس المقبلة.
ووفقاً للإحصاءات، يبلغ عدد الوظائف المتوقعة في قطاع الذكاء الاصطناعي بالمملكة 50 ألف وظيفة بحلول عام 2030. ومن المتوقع أن تسهم المبادرة في توظيف 40% من هذه الوظائف بالمواطنين السعوديين.
وتتضمن المبادرة برامج تدريبية مكثفة في مجالات علوم البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي، وورش عمل ودورات تدريبية متخصصة، بالإضافة إلى فرص التدريب العملي في الشركات والمؤسسات الرائدة.
وأكد الغامدي أن “التأسيس السعودي” سيسهم في تحقيق أهداف رؤية المملكة 2030 بتنويع الاقتصاد وخلق فرص عمل جديدة للشباب السعودي، بما يضمن مستقبلاً واعداً للمملكة في عصر البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي.

Riyadh – Saudi student Maryam has achieved remarkable success in the field of technology and innovation, securing first place in the “Innovation in Electronic Systems” competition recently organized by King Saud University.

Maryam, a 21-year-old fourth-year student in the College of Engineering majoring in Computer Engineering, designed an intelligent system for monitoring air quality in enclosed spaces using artificial intelligence technologies.

In a statement to “Al-Riyadh Newspaper,” Maryam said: “My goal for this project was to provide a practical solution to the problem of indoor air pollution, which affects human health. I used advanced sensors and intelligent algorithms to analyze the surrounding environment and provide immediate recommendations.”

She added: “I am proud to represent Saudi women in the field of science and technology, and I aspire to contribute to developing innovative solutions for our community’s problems.”

Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, Dean of the College of Engineering, praised Maryam’s achievement, saying: “This victory is a culmination of our university’s efforts to support and encourage creative students. Maryam is a role model for Saudi women excelling in scientific and technological fields.”

Maryam received a financial prize of 50,000 Saudi Riyals, in addition to an opportunity to incubate her project in the university’s technology business incubator.

It’s worth noting that this is not Maryam’s first achievement in the field of innovation. She previously won second place in the “Hajj Hackathon” in 2022 for a project aimed at facilitating pilgrims’ movement using a smart application.

This achievement comes within the framework of the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to empower women and support their participation in science, technology, and innovation sectors, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

الرياض: كشفت دراسة حديثة أجراها باحثون في مجال الصحة العامة عن نتائج مهمة تتعلق بتأثير الحركة اليومية البسيطة على صحة الإنسان بشكل عام.
وأظهرت الدراسة التي نشرت نتائجها مؤخراً أن إضافة 15 دقيقة فقط من الحركة الخفيفة إلى الروتين اليومي يمكن أن يحسّن الصحة بشكل ملحوظ ويساهم في إطالة متوسط العمر المتوقع.
وأوضح الباحثون أن الأنشطة البسيطة مثل المشي السريع أو صعود الدرج أو حتى الأعمال المنزلية الخفيفة يمكن أن تحدث فرقاً كبيراً في الصحة العامة للإنسان.
وأكدت الدراسة أن هذه النتائج تنطبق على جميع الفئات العمرية وأنصاف الأعمار، مما يجعلها توصية مهمة للجميع بغض النظر عن مستوى لياقتهم البدنية الحالي.
وخلص الباحثون إلى أن هذه النتائج تؤكد أهمية دمج الحركة في الحياة اليومية، حتى لو كانت بكميات صغيرة، كونها تساهم في الوقاية من العديد من الأمراض المزمنة وتحسين جودة الحياة بشكل عام.
