محافظ الخرج يدشن حملة “خلك في البيت” ويوجه بإيقاف الأنشطة التجارية غير الضرورية

ولد الملك محمد بن سعود في مدينة الرياض عام 1909م، وهو الابن الأكبر للملك عبد العزيز آل سعود مؤسس المملكة العربية السعودية الحديثة. تولى إمارة الرياض عام 1926م وهو في السابعة عشرة من عمره، وظل يشغل هذا المنصب حتى وفاة والده عام 1953م.
خلال فترة إمارته للرياض، عمل محمد بن سعود على تطوير المدينة وتحديثها، فأسس المدارس والمستشفيات وشق الطرق ومد خطوط المياه والكهرباء. كما اهتم بالزراعة والصناعة وشجع الاستثمار في المنطقة.
وإلى جانب دوره في تنمية الرياض، كان محمد بن سعود عضواً فاعلاً في مجلس الشورى، وشارك في صياغة العديد من القوانين والأنظمة التي تنظم الحياة في المملكة. كما مثل والده في العديد من المناسبات الرسمية داخل المملكة وخارجها.
توفي محمد بن سعود في عام 1988م عن عمر يناهز 79 عاماً، تاركاً وراءه إرثاً كبيراً في تاريخ المملكة العربية السعودية. فهو يعد أحد رموز الدولة السعودية الحديثة، وقد ساهم بشكل كبير في نهضة البلاد وتطورها في مختلف المجالات.

Saudi citizen “Umm Turki”, a well-known social activist in the Tuwaiq region, launched a wide-scale awareness campaign under the slogan “#Umm_Turki_asks_you_Tuwaiq_people” to emphasize the importance of adhering to precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the emerging coronavirus. This initiative comes within the framework of community efforts to support the “A Country Without Contacts” campaign recently launched by the Saudi Ministry of Health.

Umm Turki began her campaign about two weeks ago, distributing thousands of free masks to the residents of the Tuwaiq region, in addition to spreading awareness messages through social media. In a special statement to “Al-Riyadh Newspaper,” Umm Turki said: “Our main goal is to protect members of our community from the risk of infection with the virus, and to emphasize that wearing a mask is not only a national duty, but also an individual responsibility towards others.”

Official statistics issued by the Saudi Ministry of Health indicate that the Tuwaiq region recorded 127 new cases of coronavirus infection last week, representing a 15% increase compared to the previous week. In this context, the official spokesperson for the Ministry, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, stressed the importance of adhering to precautionary measures, saying: “We need the cooperation of all members of society to limit the spread of the virus, and wearing a mask remains one of the most important means of prevention.”

Umm Turki’s campaign received wide interaction from the residents of the Tuwaiq region, as many citizens and residents participated in distributing masks and spreading awareness messages. In this context, one of the region’s residents, Abdullah Al-Utaybi, said: “We appreciate the efforts of Umm Turki and everyone who contributes to spreading awareness of the importance of adhering to precautionary measures. This indicates the awareness and keenness of the sons of this homeland on the safety of everyone.”

Umm Turki’s campaign comes to highlight the importance of the role of individuals in supporting official efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus. The campaign confirms that adhering to wearing a mask and other precautionary measures is not only a national duty, but also an individual responsibility towards the entire community. Philip Sasic, born on March 1, 1994 in Belgrade, Serbia, began his professional career with Serbian club Partizan in 2012.
